After a whirlwind week of cycling, media, community engagement and more, we were gearing up to continue cycling eastbound along Route 66 towards San Bernardino until, an electrical issue with our tour bus thwarted our forward momentum. Fortunately, the issue was resolved with the help of our dear friends, the Hargrave family, and was the auspicious precursor to an even more pressing matter, a diesel fuel leak!

This too, was resolved roadside, but was enough of a sign for us to reconsider our immediate plans. Rather than continue eastward further from known assistance, we decided to drive back to familiar ground, an RV Park with full, 50amp power, water and sewer hookups, and regroup for the weekend.

We plan to return back to Route 66 on Monday, 6/17/24 to resume where we left off!
